I have been the PGA Professional at Birchwood Golf Club since September 2007, with over 10 years experience in the golfing industry.

A proud Welshman originating from Denbigh in North Wales, I first started the game aged 13 at Denbigh Golf Club. I am passionate about the game of golf and thrive in the all round duties of a Club Professional.

Player, teacher, club fitter, buyer, retailer and most importantly friend are many of the job titles, but the greatest satisfaction comes from interacting with the members and guests in a golf club environment.

I create a warm and friendly atmosphere in the Pro Shop making both members and visitors fell very welcome.

My role of honour includes the following:

1996	Became Junior Captain at Denbigh Golf Club
1996	Equalled Course Record 65 at Denbigh Golf Club
1996	Welsh Boys Inter Counties Team Champion
1997	Welsh National Team Development Squad member
1997	1st in the Scratch event at the Welsh Boys Championship at The Glamorganshire Golf Club
1996- 2002	Represented my County Denbighshire and North Wales at various levels, including at Junior, Colt and Senior Level
2000-2001	Chairman of Staffordshire University Golf Team
2002	Club Champion Rhuddlan Golf Club

I started my Professional career immediately after completing a Degree in Leisure Economics at Staffordshire University, where I was Chairman and Player of the University Golf Team for 3 years.

My PGA Training began in October 2002 at Rhuddlan Golf Club, qualifying in early 2005 as PGA Golf Professional with a Merit Qualification.

I then moved to St Melyd Golf Club as their PGA Professional in 2005 till 2007, before joining Birchwood Golf Club as Head PGA Professional in September 2007.

Callaway Staff Player

For the last 2 seasons I have been a Callaway Staff Player Ambassador, playing the best and latest technology on the market. In the Inaugural Callaway Cup 2011 I qualified for the Callaway Staff Player North Team to take on our Southern Counterparts.

Competing in a team of 12 playing at the famous Valderrama Golf Resort in Spain, I triumphed in my Singles match which completed a fantastic 3 days in the Spanish Sunshine, this is highlighted in the Valderrama Image Gallery below.

I am recently married to my wife Leanne a Neo-Natal Nurse in October 2011, a passionate Tottenham Hotspur fan and overall sports fan.

I would like to think I have a good reputation and track record in improving peoples games, by creating a fun filled atmosphere that aids development.
